Boys and Girls AAU

AAU is RockIt’s most competitive and intense level of basketball. We offer boys and girls teams from 3rd to 11th grades.

We firmly believe that our athletes learn invaluable lessons that they’ll carry forward in life — resilience, hard work, team work, the grace to support a teammate’s success, the joy of personal achievement. These skills translate into athletes that are strong students, reliable partners in the workforce, and great people all around.

  • 3rd-8th grade boys try out in August and the season runs from September through June. There is a second tryout in late February to fill any open roster positions before the spring tournament season.

  • 3rd-5th grade girls try out in August and middle school girls try out in mid-October. The season starts after tryouts and runs through June.

  • All high school players - boys and girls - try out in February. The season starts in March and runs through late June.

  • AAU teams practice twice weekly throughout most of the season.

  • Youth teams play in both the RockIt Fall and Winter League. They’ll play one game each weekend of league play. This is a fantastic way to gain competitive game experience prior to the start of the spring tournament season.

  • All teams - youth and high school - will play 4-6 spring tournaments between March and June.
